Most game announcements come alongside an announcement of an alpha or beta phase. Back 4 Blood is no different with the announcement of a closed alpha. Here is what you need to know about Back 4 Blood’s alpha.
Back 4 Blood’s Closed Alpha Will Only Be On The PC
Unfortunately, for console players, the playtest for Back 4 Blood will only be on the PC. However, that doesn’t mean Back 4 Blood won’t be on consoles. Hopefully, Back 4 Blood’s beta test will involve console players but, for now, the alpha playtest is only available for PC players.
Who Can Play Back 4 Blood’s Closed Alpha?
Only players in Germany, France, Canada, The United Kingdom, and the United States are eligible to play Back 4 Blood’s closed alpha.
When Does Back 4 Blood’s Alpha Start?
Back 4 Blood’s alpha playtest begins on December 17th at 11 AM EST.
What Else Do You Need To Play The Closed Alpha?
You will need to have an active Steam account to play Back 4 Blood’s closed alpha. The closed alpha will come in the form of a Steam code. You activate the code the same you would for any Steam game, by choosing “Activate A Product On Steam” in Steam’s menu.
Steam is also where you would report any bugs.
