Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting ready to release on November 10th, 2020 for the current and next-generation systems, including the PC and Google Stadia. While the game isn’t in our hands yet, it looks like Ubisoft already has a road map for the future.
What Is Planned For Post-Launch Valhalla?
None of us are smashing skulls with Viking weapons yet, but a launch season pass trailer confirms there are exciting things to look forward to after Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launches, such as:
- An exclusive quest.
- Two major expansions.
- In-game events and festivals
- New game modes
- New settlement buildings
- New services
- Discovery tour
What Expansions Are Planned For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Two expansions are currently planned for post-release Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:
- Wrath of the Druids: The first expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is called Wrath of the Druids. Releasing in Spring 2021, players get to explore Ireland as they track down an ancient cult through beautiful yet haunting, landscapes.
- The Siege Of Paris: The second expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, called The Siege Of Paris, puts players in the shoes of Vikings as they attempt to bring down the heavily-guarded streets of Paris and the River Seine. The Siege Of Paris will release in the Summer of 2021.
A new exclusive quest, The Legend of Beowulf, will be available on launch day. The quest followers the players as they discover the truth behind one of the legendary icons in European lore: Beowulf.
What Seasonal Content Will There Be In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
The game will have plenty of great seasonal content that will last for three months before a new season is released. In each season, the world will evolve, and players can progress further in the game. It’s a great way to keep the game going for years until the next Assassin’s Creed game.
The first season of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release in December 2020 with some exciting content from a new settlement area, weapons, armor, and player abilities.
The Second season of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla isn’t planned until March 2021 and will bring new festivals, gear, and game modes.
