Back 4 Blood’s closed alpha playtest begins on 12/17/20 through 12/21/20. The world premiere of the game was announced during The Game Awards. The trailer showed almost everything we’ve known from the Left 4 Dead series, from the normal zombies, the team of four, and some special infected.
Since Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor of the Left 4 Dead series, there are going to be some similarities. However, there will also be a lot of differences since Back 4 Blood is its own IP. That’s because a spiritual successor is not a sequel, but a game taking the spirit of its predecessor without it being in the same universe.
You will have to see any differences between Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood in the latter’s closed alpha, but can your PC handle it? Let’s take a look at Back 4 Blood’s minimum requirements for its closed alpha playtest.
Back 4 Blood’s Closed Alpha Minimum Requirements

Please keep in mind; the minimum requirements are for Back 4 Blood’s closed alpha and may or may not be the same minimum requirements once the game releases:

- 8GB RAM
- Video Cards: GeForce GTX 770 or Radeon RX 480 or higher
