Vikings weren’t exactly the nicest people. They didn’t raid and pillage with flowers and songs, but we’re going to learn that in Ubisoft’s upcoming “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” game.
There’s plenty of hype to go around with the upcoming action-adventure game featuring Vikings. There have only been a handful of Viking Games or games involving Vikings in video games’ long history. However, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will paint a picture of what the Norse invasion of England may have looked and felt like.
While we do have “Vikings,” a drama on the History channel, we haven’t really had an accurate audio depiction of the lives of the Vikings. Fortunately, Ubisoft is releasing a podcast to tap into the hype surrounding Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with a five-episode podcast available on Spotify called, “Echoes of Valhalla.”
What Is Echoes Of Valhalla?
- Echoes of Valhalla is a Viking-themed podcast from Ubisoft.
- Echoes of Valhalla goes into the history of Vikings.
- The podcast comes on the heels of hype surrounding the imminent release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
- Echoes of Valhalla is available on Spotify.
It makes sense for Ubisoft to dive deeper into the history of the Vikings, especially when, despite the hype surrounding the Norse warriors, there is still so much we can learn about them as a culture.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming to the Xbox Series X as well as the Xbox Series S on November 10th, 2020. However, the older systems aren’t getting snubbed because Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also be released for the Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 5 won’t see Valhalla until two days later on November 12th, 2020.
