The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a video game developed and published by CD Project RED in Poland. It was released worldwide on 19 May 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows. It was revealed in February 2013. This game is the third series that following The Witcher and The Witcher 2: The King’s Assassins. Overall, it is based on the historical tale of Geralt de Rivia by Andrzej Sapkowski.
The game is an RPG play with a third-person viewpoint. Players put their shoes on Geralt of Rivia, a warlock beast hunter. Geralt travels, leaps, climbs, and swims (for the first time in the show). It has a range of weapons, explosives, a spear, and two swords (one steel and one silver). The steel sword is used only for killing humans, while the silver sword against predators and monsters that are more powerful. Players can draw their blades at will, adjust them, and sheathe them.
You will battle the hostile environment with spells and weapons, engaging with NPCs and doing all side quests and his key role in the game to locate the adopted daughter of Geralt, Ciri, and combat the white winter prophecy.
The game was praised and profitable commercially, selling more than 6 million copies in six weeks. This achievement has received several honors from different publications, papers and award events for the outstanding title of the year, including the Joystick Honors, the Sports Awards and the Game Developers Choice Awards.
Finally, there have been two sequels for this game: Stone’s Hearts and Blood and Wine.
