After opening the door to the dollhouse, you’ll get a message that the surface looks unusual. There’s something in your case to help you figure it out.

Right-click to zoom out and double-click the case to examine it.

If you notice, there’s nothing at the top of the case for you to use. However, there’s a secret compartment at the side of the case.

To open the case to get the item to look in the dollhouse, grab the handle and pull it down.

Pulling down the handle on the side of the briefcase opens a secret compartment.

Double-click on the eyepiece to look at it. You’ll need to open it up to use it.

To open the eyepiece, click on the little handle on the right side of the eyepiece.

This completely opens the eyepiece up for you to use. Now, click the back button to exit your inventory.

You can test the eyepiece on your case.

The eyepiece will reveal hidden messages or items throughout The Room 4: Old Sins. The first thing you’ll notice on your briefcase is the message “Break the seal. Find the Null.”

Now, you can bring the eyepiece back to the dollhouse to use it.

Click on the eyepiece and look through the door. You’ll see a distorted hallway and moveable objects such as a chandelier, a frame, and a chair. You’ll notice lines behind these items. That means you can move them along these lines.

Move the chair back and the frame up.

Use the chandelier to straighten the hallway further until the puzzle is done.

Once it’s done, the dollhouse will open its first area: the foyer.

You can examine it with the eyepiece to look at the model room.
