TLOU2 is Naughty Dog’s action-adventure title and survival horror and was exclusively released on June 19, 2020, by Sony for PlayStation 4.
In December 2016, the last of us Part II was revealed at the PlayStation Experience gathering. The first trailer showed Ellie and Joel’s comeback, whose story continues on five years since the first film. While the first game is about love, Druckmann claimed that Part II is about hate. The vote was made in 2017.
The second video was revealed at the Paris Games Week in October 2017. He introduced four new series characters: Yara (Victoria Grace), Lev (Ian Alexander), Emily (Émily Swallow) and Laura Bailey (later identified as “Abby”). Druckmann said that the protagonists “are an important part of the next journey of [Ellie and Joel]” and Sony announced the game at E3 2018. Another breakthrough in the quality of play in September 2019 was a show on the new titles from PlayStation.
The publication date is February 21, 2020, Since the prototype was screened in October 2019. Unfortunately, Druckmann revealed that the title would be postponed until May 29 2020. After the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, its publication was delayed until June 19
Throughout 2017, PlayStation Gamer called the Last of Us Part II, the Most Wanted Game at the Golden Joystick Awards, and The Game Awards the most awaited title of the year. In 2018, it received the most anticipated game prize at the Gamers Choice Award. In addition to the special mentioning of graphics and sound at the Game Critics Awards in July of that year, it was nominated for the most wanted game at the Golden Joystick Awards.
