In our last walkthrough guide of Resident Evil Village, we were preparing to fight off the Lycans. Now it’s time to confront your enemies. You’re going to learn that the Lycans in Resident Evil Village are a lot smarter than you think. The chaos that’s about to ensue will put your survival skills to the test.
Now that you’re out, you’ll find that Lycans are very perceptive. They can ride horses. They can use weapons, and you have a measly handgun and limited shotgun ammo. You’re not going to want to engage them all, the Lycans are endless at this point. You’re basically playing a game of survival at this point as you use the buildings for cover during your escape and cover.
Do what you can to barricade doors, make use of any ladders you find, and use this barrel full of gunpowder that you find to take out a group of Lycans if you can lure them to it. You’ll find a couple of other TNT barrels as you escape alongside some more shotgun ammo and an herb for your healing.
No matter what you do, you’re going to eventually run into a large and more intelligent Lycan by the name of Urias. Do your best to avoid his attacks. He is not someone you want to get nearby, obviously, because of his giant hammer.
Eventually, you’re going to be completely overwhelmed. There’s really no point in seeing how long you’ll survive as you’ll get thrown into the water, and you’ll suffer a gruesome hand injury.
It seems all is lost, at least, until an old woman begins to move into the area. The Lycans will disperse at that point. She is not a threat to you, but you should follow her. Be sure to check any nearby houses you didn’t look at during the fray for items or crates. Who is this woman? Find out in our Resident Evil Village Walkthrough Guide – Part Ten.
