One of the first things you notice if you’re watching a stream of Phasmophobia is almost everyone is holding a photo camera in their hand after they set up all their equipment, but what is the camera for?
What Is The Photo Camera For In Phasmophobia?
The photo camera is for:
- Taking photos of ghost activity.
- Completing optional objectives.
- Completing daily challenges.
The brightness of the flash is double that of a regular flashlight. However, don’t rely on it for illuminating your way through dark hallways. Each photo camera only holds five photographs.
What Ghost Activity Counts With The Photo Camera?
Players can earn $5 at the end of the game with a successful photo. The reward is multiplied, depending on the difficulty. You will know if a photo is successful if you see a title above the photograph in the journal. The following will count toward successful photo evidence:
- Ouija board
- Dirty water
- Signed ghost writing book
- Voodoo doll
- Dead body
- The ghost itself
The photo camera is $40, and players can only bring in three per round. With five photos each, that’s fifteen photos players can take each game. Make sure you use it wisely.
