However, it should make sense that ghosts leave their prints on doors as they try to push and pull them open, looking for players to kill. Fortunately, a new change to the beta build of the game gave ghosts some much-needed fingerprints.

Sometimes, a ghost’s room wouldn’t have a door on it. This made it difficult for ghost hunters to find fingerprint evidence if the ghost type was any of the ones listed above. This change to the beta version of Phasmophobia makes it so ghost hunters can find fingerprint evidence if the ghost hasn’t interacted with the window or light switch. That means, if you suspect the ghost to be any of the above ghosts, check any open or closed doors after a hunt is over for fingerprints.
