The Asylum map in Phasmophobia is easily the largest and scariest map in the game. There are hundreds of different rooms in the Asylum, which can make it difficult to play, even on amateur difficulty.
Asylum Map
This map to the Asylum was created by KDOG57 and showed all of the different rooms as well as confirmed Ouija board spawn locations.

The confirmed Ouija board locations in Asylum are:
- Six bedroom 3
- Utility 2
- Lounge 2
- Occupational therapy office
However, there are only the confirmed locations, and more could pop up in the future.

Phasmophobia Asylum Map Tips
If you’re playing on a team of four, you should:
- Have one or two people with a parabolic microphone.
- Have the other two alternating between EMF and temperature readings.
- Have a crucifix ready to drop once the area is found.
A parabolic microphone is especially helpful in large maps such as the Asylum in Phasmophobia because players can see if any sound is picked up through the microphone. However, it’s important to constantly communicate with your team to ensure you’re not hearing them walking around. Having two teams split between the different floors helps you cover more ground before the timer runs out if you’re not playing on professional difficulty.
Once the area is found, have one person stay in the truck and help coordinate other players with a head-mounted camera as they’re watching for ghost orbs, activity, and coordinating the movement of different equipment.
The Asylum might be a large map in Phasmophobia, but it takes a lot of coordination and knowing how to use different equipment effectively.
