Welcome back to part seventy-six of our Omori walkthrough. We’re slowly unraveling the mystery behind Mari’s death. Sunny and Basil clearly were behind it, but how she died is still a mystery.

Click on the red window after finding a person not breathing on the bed in the room with Basil’s shadow. You’ll be in a darkened construction area that looks similar to an area you visited in Omori’s dream world, but what is the significance of this place?

Walk up the stairs where you’ll see something encased in light.

However, if you try to interact with it, you’ll be told that something is preventing you from getting any closer. You might walk around the area a bit more wondering what you have to do, but we’ll spare you the troubles and tell you that what you seek is off in the darkness.

You’re able to walk to the right and off the platform, where you’ll see a trail of photos. Hint: Keep an eye on Omori’s footsteps as he picks up photographs.

The next photograph is just a pair of hands. Is whoever was in this photograph regretting what they’re about to do, or what they already did?

As you walk through the darkness, the trail of red footsteps grows further. Continue picking up photos in the darkness.

The next photo is of Sunny and Mari. Mari looks like she has been restrained. Who is restraining her? The person at her feet looks like it’s Sunny.

As you move around and collect photographs, you’ll notice a hand on your screen. The hand will slowly lose its fingers.

The next photo shows Sunny again, holding Mari up by her torso. At this point, we’re not sure of the timeline of these photographs. Maybe they’re random, and you need to put them together later.

Once the hand loses all its fingers, you’re free to pick up the item on the original platform.

Make your way back to Something and look at the last photograph in that area.

After viewing the photo, you’ll be in a completely new area.

Walk over to the photograph illuminated in light. This time, Something isn’t there to block your path. What’s in this photo?

The photograph shows someone hiding behind a corridor as Mari and Sunny stand face to face. Is she confronting him about something? This looks, unlike the other photos we’ve seen so far where she’s been on the ground or unconscious. What caused this? We’ll have to find out in the Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy-Seven.

  1. I love the art style of Omori and that’s one of the reasons I gave it a go. Little did I know I would be sucked in and this would become one of my favorite games ever! For anyone who likes RPGs and even horror games, this is a must try. Who knows? Maybe you’ll love it like I did.
