Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy-Seven Putting It All Together

Welcome to our walkthrough of Omori’s Sunny route. We’re still in Sunny’s dream world as Omori and learning of the events surrounding Mari’s death.

The last photo we saw was of Mari and Sunny standing at the top of the stairs. This was the last photo we saw where she was standing on her own two feet. The pictures were not in order. However, the last few pictures tell a damning story.

Continue to explore the darkness full of instruments. Omori’s blood trail is at its longest, and there’s a photo under an illuminated light.

Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy- Mari confronts Sunny at top of the stairs

Walk up to the photo to see what happens after it looks like Mari confronted Sunny at the top of the stairs. The motion of the photo implies she was pushed and is in the middle of falling down the stairs.

Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy- There is a red light coming through the door

After picking up the photo, continue through the darkness until you come across the back door to Sunny’s house. There’s an eerie red light coming from the door.

You can’t go out the door just yet, but there is a lampshade to your left. If you click on the lampshade, you’re asked if you want to screw in the lightbulb to illuminate the rest of the room.

Once the room is lit, you’ll see a creepy room full of pictures, a photo in the center, and a chair.

Walk up to the photo and examine it.

Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy- Mari is falling down the stairs

The photo shows Mari falling down the stairs. Sunny’s position at the top of the stairs does imply he did indeed push her and was directly responsible for causing her death. However, the story has more to tell. This fall down the stairs wasn’t the cause of Mari’s death because wasn’t she found hanging in a tree?

After looking at the photo, the door leading into the eerie red light opens.

Walk through and you’re met with another gate.

Continue through the gate, where you can finally put some of the photos together. Much like the photo album you did in Omori’s dreamworld and in Basil’s house, you’re going to piece together what exactly happened to Mari on this fateful day. Based on the order you put the photos in, Mari was pushed down the stairs by Sunny to Basil who was sitting at the bottom of the steps. Basil was documenting everything.

After putting the photobook together, you can continue walking north through another gate. It’s an endless forest of gates.

However, you’ll finally come across a photo that will finally give clues as to Mari’s ultimate demise. What could it be and how did Sunny and Basil cause it? We’ll have to find out in Omori Walkthrough Guide – Part Seventy-Eight.

  2. Just found this walkthrough guide and now I want to know everything! I will have to go back and take it from the beginning, it’s so intriguing! Just searched for it and it has a 10/10 on Steam and an 87 on Metacritic! WOW! This must be a really good game!
