After chasing (who we assume is Basil) through a forest of otherworldly tall leaves, we enter a darkened barn. All of Omori’s friends are gone. Might his dream be fading?

Omori Video Game Basil Entering Barn Dark 001

The first thing you’ll notice is Omori’s friends are missing. The only way you can go is up.

After you get to the top of the stairs, you’ll notice an F key, a frame, and a music stand.

Omori Video Game Barn Music Stand Dark 003

However, all the notes in the sheet music on the music stand are scribbled out. What could it mean? A dark lightbulb hangs above the painting. At first, it looked like the type of rope people use to kill themselves. Maybe it was meant to be that ambiguous-looking. However, after a closer look, it’s clearly a dark lightbulb.

Omori Video Game Barn No Light 004

There’s not much you can do now; you’ve clicked on everything. The only way you can go is back down, right? If you try it, that shape appears again and sends you back to the White Space.

Omori Video Game Hangman 005

Once you’re back in the White Space, you’ll get to check your hangman keys. We noticed, in this blind run, we missed the C key. It looks like it’ll be in the Pinwheel Forest. However, we’ll have to wait to do that because it’s time to leave the White Space.

Unfortunately, the only way out of the White Space is the one that is a little uncomfortable for us.

After a short scene, you see the “Three Days Left” screen, indicating the end of the prologue.

Omori Video Game End Of Prologue 009

Finally, we’re at the end of the prologue, and (fortunately for us) it’s daytime for Sunny (or in our case, Jason). Does this mean we’ll finally have some semblance of normalcy?

Omori Video Game Mom Voicemail Good Bargain 010

After your character gets out of bed, go to the phone, where you’ll hear a voicemail from the world’s worst mother. She stayed wherever she was while leaving her child at home because she encountered a furniture sale. How horrible.

Omori Video Game Play Blackjack Game 011

You can click on the computer nearby to play a blackjack game. We didn’t stick around to finish it, but we won every time. We wonder if there’s an achievement for winning a certain amount of money.

Omori Video Game Mom To Do List 012

While your mother does tell you to go do your chores, is it really worth listening to a woman who left you on your own for discount furniture?

Omori Video Game Kel For Sale Sign 013

As soon as you leave the room, you’ll hear a knocking at the door. It’s not a ghost again, is it? Hopefully not, but the way the room spins when you answer the door is ominous.

Omori Video Game Kel Asking To Hang Out One More Time 014

You see the dream version of Kel behind the door. Should you open it?

Fortunately, when you do, you’re not greeted by a ghost. Instead, you’re greeted by real-life Kel. Finally, maybe things will become relatively normal.
