If you’re not a fan of maze-based puzzles, then you’re going to hate Sweetheart’s Dungeon, it’s not very fun, but you have to get through it so you can find Sweetheart and save the sprout moles from living in fear.

You’ll notice vases near Mari’s blanket. Only Aubrey can break them Zelda style. I suggest having Aubrey as your party leader for the majority of this dungeon. You’ll need Kel for one or two parts, but it’s mostly a vase-smashing adventure.

If you go to the right, you’ll notice you can’t proceed south yet. This way is the way out, so you’ll have to push a combination of heart buttons before you can proceed.

Continue right, and you’ll come across a platform surrounded by vases. Smash them all as Aubrey, then switch to Kel to hit the button.

This button opens the spikes all the way on the left side of the dungeon.

Head to that button and press it. The camera will pan to the sprout mole standing in front of the button from before. You only know something terrible will happen to this poor sprout mole (it explodes).

After pressing the button behind the now-deceased sprout mole, the path south of Mari’s picnic is open.

Climb that ladder, and you’ll enter a room with a button and a toilet (that has ramen in it. Again, ew). You’ll also notice a key in the room to the left. It’s guarded by spikes.

However, the button in the room opens those spikes for you.

Switch to Aubrey and smash all the vases first. Then switch to Omori and pick up the key. For some reason, the cutscene counts as re-entering the area, so all the vases (and the guards) will re-appear. Switch back to Aubrey and smash the vases again.

If you haven’t gone up the ladder behind Mari’s blanket, now is the time to do so. You’ll run into Smuggler Jash, who has some affordable items to restock.

Now it’s time to head out. Go to the ladder to the south. This puts you in a long corridor. The door immediately to the north brings you back into the dungeons, where you can lower the spikes by pressing the button there. Run all the way south (having Aubrey as your leader so she can break the vases), and you’ll find the exit to the dungeon. However, you’re not in the clear yet.
