To say Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was a huge success would be an understatement. It’s everything Super Monkey Ball should have been had there been the technology to support a 60-man battle royale-type game. Mediatonic, the developers behind Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout didn’t expect the game was going to bring in millions of players during the first day of its release. Currently, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is only available for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. This leaves a massive hole for those who wanted to play it on Microsoft’s Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or on their mobile systems.

It’s obvious Mediatonic has a hit on their hands. Every time a game becomes an instant hit, there’s bound to be knock-off developers who try to capitalize on their success. Do you remember what happened with Flappy Bird? The developer became an instant success. After that, there were so many different Flappy Bird variations on the mobile market, trying to emulate his success. It’s only a matter of time before another developer notices the need for a similar game on platforms that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is not on at the moment.

Since its release, there has been a demand for a mobile version of the game. It only makes sense to release a mobile version of Fall Guys because of its art style and gameplay. Fortunately, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has confirmed it will have a mobile port. Unfortunately, the rights to publish a mobile version was picked up by Bilibili, to only distribute in China. Yes, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is only coming to mobile in China. Even though the mobile version of the game will only be available in China, that does settle the debate about whether or not a mobile system can handle Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. If the developers can make a mobile port for one region, then, theoretically, they could make one for another region too. Fall Guys: UItimate Knockout isn’t as complicated as other games that can do mobile ports like Fortnite.

Understandably, those in the other regions are upset over the game’s mobile port, only releasing in China. There has been some “leaked” footage of a mobile port of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, but those ended up being hoaxes. For now, those not in China will have to wait patiently for a mobile port of the game if they do not own a PC or PlayStation 4.

  1. WOOOOW! I’ve seen very bad quality copies for mobiles and of course they have to make the best out of the success! I’m sure if it goes well in China it will be released everywhere, but as any other game would rather play it on pc, except of course CR and specific mobile games, not adaptations from other games.
