If you are the type of person who is a leader and needs to stay in the truck, then you’ll need a way to track the players inside. The best way to do that is by watching the player’s head-mounted camera.

What Is A Head-Mounted Camera?

A head-mounted camera is obtained at level 8 for the price of $60. The head-mounted camera is used for:

  • Tracking other players
  • Seeing ghost orbs

While ghost orbs can be seen with the regular video camera, a head-mounted camera is good for when you think the ghost orbs may be somewhere else. It’s easier to coordinate someone else’s movement instead of having them try to position a camera. This is a great idea for bigger levels like Brownstone High School or the Asylum.

What Else Can The Head-Mounted Camera Do?

The head-mounted camera in Phasmophobia has two different modes. A visual mode and a night-vision mode. You can use the night-vision mode with the head-mounted camera for detecting ghost orbs.

There’s a bit of coordination between the truck player and the person wearing the camera, especially if the person inside needs to be alone to stir up ghost activity. The person in the truck can help monitor their surroundings and help them get to safety.

How Do You Take Off The Head-Mounted Camera?

In Phasmophobia, if you need to take the head-mounted camera off, all you need to do is press F when you’re at the board on the left of the truck where you grabbed it.
