Hello Neighbour 2 has been officially announced for 2021.
The game, a sequel to the original 2017 survival horror title, was announced by publisher tinyBuild during the Xbox Games Showcase pre-show who revealed it will launch on PC, Xbox One, and the upcoming Xbox Series X console.
As reported by Gamespot, the sequel, which is being developed by Eerie Guest Studios, takes place directly after the original game in Raven Brooks. However, it follows a reporter named Quentin who is on a mission to find out why people have been mysteriously disappearing in the town and how an abandoned house ties into everything.
According to reports, once you arrive at the strange house, you will be stalked by a strange creature. What’s more, the game’s AI has been upgraded, closely observing your movements to stop you from exploring certain parts of the building.
Unlike the original game, Hello Neighbour 2 is open-world, allowing you to explore the entire neighbourhood of Raven Brooks. As you progress through the game, you’ll need to explore the town to find items to help you explore the abandoned house but will be hunted by the terrifying creature while doing so.
Alongside the official announcement, tinyBuild and developer Eerie Guest Studios, also shared a trailer for the upcoming game, which you can watch below:
