Epic Games has extended the duration of Chapter 2 Season 2 due to the coronavirus. It setbacks at the start of the year. Well, that time of year has come when Fortnite changes completely again with a great update.

According to Fortnite Intel, the Battle Royale has added a countdown for the arrival of Season 3 of Chapter 2. The closing season event has been scheduled for June 4 and will be called Doomsday.

Meanwhile, more content for Season 2 will keep you shopping. Still, we’re fast approaching the start date for Fortnite Season 3. Here, we’ll be able to play new challenges and modes soon.

For now, the reason why Epic Games has not revealed the name of the finale event. However, some sources reported that it would be an aquatic event.

Fortnite Season 2 Finale Event

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 was initially slated to wrap up on April 30. Unfortunately, we have some adjustments.

The developer of Epic Games has rescheduled the plan. The new date for Season 2 Finale Event will be June 4, 2020. Then, the next season will begin immediately after that.

Now that Season 2 will run for several more weeks, Epic Games says there will be “a lot” of additional content in the game. “We have various Fortnite updates to keep you busy. It will give you new gameplay, new challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up your sleeve!” the developer joked in a blog post.

Still, it seems season 3 is already poking fun at posters uncovered in Lazy Lake. They focus on sharks and water content directly in their files. Here, Epic Games is expected to enable some special game mode.

The creation of a device called Doomsday or Judgment Day could be related to this long-discussed event. This flood would come accompanied by new mechanics, and even the sharks have starred in the odd news. Beyond this, it remains a mystery.

Fortnite Season 3 Start Date

Fortnite Season 3 begins June 4. In other words, in a few days, we will be able to see what is inside. However, it is expected that in these weeks, Epic Games will show more and more clues about the imminent future of the game.

  1. I must have missed Fortnite Season 2 and the finale. I’m glad there is going to be a season 3 of Fortnite.

  2. Fortnite is pretty fun, I was able to witness the Season 3 start. I find the graphics quirky and the characters fun so I’m a pretty happy user from this end.

  3. I had to retire from Fortnite due to motion sickness issues, but maybe I can look at some of the Season 3 of Fortnite.
