As much as the developers don’t want to name-drop the Dragonsong Reprise World First Winners, the title still belongs to Team Neverland.
It took a week for a team to emerge as the Dragonsong Reprise World First Winners, as the raid itself is incredibly challenging, but we’re glad that the hardcore players finally have content they’ve waited for after multiple patches.
Those who came after Team Neverland to be one of the first teams to claim wins after the Dragonsong Reprise World First winners still put in a lot of effort in a raid that looks very well-designed.
Without spoiling anything, for those who haven’t watched the streams already, there are important story points in the raid that affect the decision-making of the party. However, since it’s a re-telling of what happened through the Wandering Minstrel, it has no effect on the story of FFXIV (as much as we wish things were different in Heavensward).
Unfortunately, the news of the Dragonsong Reprise World First Winners didn’t come without its fair share of discourse that happens to be one of the longest-running feuds that are still making its rounds on FFXIV Twitter as we speak.
