Everyone loves a good autosave feature. Sometimes we get so immersed in a game, then something catastrophic happens like a power outage or a game crash, and we lose all of our progress.
Omori is a very immersive game. The cute characters, along with immersive storytelling, have players forgetting to save at certain points.
Where Can You Save In Omori?
When we first started playing Omori, we had to AFK almost right away. It’s not too big of a deal if we lost any progress at the start of the game because we only just started. While it would be nice not to have to sit through the first cutscene and white space again, it wasn’t too big of a deal if you think about it. When we entered the second room, we had to AFK, so we opened the menu to see if there was a save option.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t one.
Does Omori Autosave Your Progress?
Unfortunately, Omori does not have an autosave feature. That means you’ll need to be conscious of your save points throughout the game. You don’t encounter the first save point in the game until you reach the picnic with Basil and Mari, where the latter prompts you to save by clicking on her picnic basket.
It’s always a good idea to save often every time you come across a save point in Omori.
