If you’ve been playing the popular psychological horror game in Phasmophobia, then you know the safety of the truck is like an oasis in a desert full of ghosts. Have you noticed there’s always someone that stays in the truck during each game? Why is that? Are they scared?
Why Do People Stay In The Truck In Phasmophobia?
The truck in phasmophobia has different things someone can do while everyone else is running around the house.
- A computer to monitor the head cameras and video cameras
- A whiteboard with objectives
- Screens that show ghost activity, sanity, a map, and sound
The truck person might not risk dying, but they have to have great coordination skills to lead everyone in the house to victory.
Why Else Would Someone Stay In The Truck In Phasmophobia?
The major reason why someone would stay behind in the truck on Phasmophobia is that they’re bankrolling the whole operation. That means they’re providing a lot of the equipment they can’t risk losing if they die. Yes, if you die in Phasmophobia, you lose your hard-earned items. You do get insurance when you die in Phasmophobia, but that isn’t enough to cover your losses.
The person who contributes the most money has a higher risk of losing everything if they die. That’s why it makes sense for them to stay behind in the truck and coordinate the operation with other people using their items. Even if another player dies, they won’t lose the items because they’re borrowed from the person staying in the truck.
Can I Stay In The Truck In Phasmophobia?
If you’re more of a leader than a follower, then you should aim to be the person who stays behind in the truck. You don’t need to worry about getting killed within the first five minutes, so you can help track the ghost until it starts hunting.
- Grind your way to higher levels in Phasmophobia
- Level up to be able to purchase higher-level items
- The more items you get, the more you’ll be able to fund entire hunting sessions
- You will have an excuse to stay in the truck and coordinate your team to victory
We will have to wait until Phasmophobia’s full release to see if our levels will reset and we have to grind back up in the game again.
