Back for Blood has burst onto the co-operative gaming scene, allowing players to battle it out against zombies much like Left 4 Dead did all those years ago. It’s the perfect spiritual successor and aims to bring this game format into the modern era. However, while you might have seen some gameplay, you probably wont have an extensive knowledge of what characters will be playable in this game and what they are all about. Well, allow us to help you get acquainted with your new main or at the very least, a potential member of your cleaner crew. In this guide, we take a look at the B4B cleaner, Doc.
Who is Doc in Back 4 Blood?
Doc is a female Asian character within the series that is best known for her no-nonsense attitude and her medical skill. Doc risked it all to come to America in search of a medical career and while she is undoubtedly one of the best at her craft, she got more than she bargained for. She was one of the pillars of Fort Hope before the collapse and now she continues to help in any way she can, whether that be through patching up a fellow cleaner, so dealing damage to the Ridden who threaten her comrades. She has a very strong relationship with fellow cleaner Mom but otherwise can come across as rather cold and clinical.
In terms of appearance, Doc rocks a bob haircut, red spectacles, a green satchel, a medical bag, a polka dot navy shirt, a cream overcoat, navy trousers and heavy combat boots. Doc doesn’t have a specific weapon of choice and she is voiced by Michelle Wong.
What Special Abilities Does Doc Have?
As you would expect, Doc plays the role of a healer within the group, meaning she’s a great resource to have around when the chips are down. In terms of the perks you receive from Doc, she is able to heal players who are on low health without any need for medical items. She can also heal players with much more efficiency, meaning your medical equipment goes much further. Then in addition to this, Doc also grants the team an overall trauma resistance. In short, she may not be a huge asset in combat, but you’ll want her around when the battle is won to patch you up. Here is a rundown of her unique perks:
- Heals when at low health with no need for items
- Offers a team trauma resistance
- Heals with a higher level of efficiency
