Phasmophobia’s developer has done their best to add hiding spots in the game. However, the options for legitimate hiding spots in Phasmophobia are limited to hiding behind furniture or inside of closets and lockers. Unfortunately, even these hiding spots aren’t completely safe. Ghosts in Phasmophobia can still swing open closets and grab you or check behind a bookshelf in the farmhouse and drag you to your untimely demise. Fortunately, we’ve found 6 safe hiding spots in Phasmophobia to add to your list of places to hide if you don’t think you’re going to make it to a safe hiding spot in time.
Edgefield Streethouse Hiding Spot #1
If you’re downstairs in the kitchen area of Edgefield Streethouse, you might think the options for hiding are limited. Check out the map on our website that says “toilet” right next to the kitchen. Finally, you don’t have to run all the way downstairs to the locker to hide.
Edgefield Streethouse Hiding Spot #2
If you look at the map for Edgefield Streethouse, there’s plenty of closets upstairs for you to hide. However, there’s a certain corner of the house in the purple room that doesn’t give you a quick, safe spot to run to easily. If you catch yourself getting hunted, you can run right across the hallway to the kid’s room and hide behind the door.
Bleasdale Farmhouse Hiding Spot
Bleasdale Farmhouse has very limited places to hide, especially upstairs. If you’re downstairs in Grafton, you have the option of making the hike all the way to the garage area to hide in the lockers, but you don’t want to do that if you’re upstairs. By the time you make it upstairs, you’ll get hunted again. If you happen to be in the upstairs hallway on this map, you can hide in the main bathroom. Even if the ghost spawns in the room, you can still hide from them behind the door.
Ridgeview Hiding Spot
If you’re upstairs in the Ridgeview house, you’ll notice at least three closets to run into. However, the ghost could corner you before you have the chance to run into the closet. Fortunately, you can line of sight the ghost behind the door upstairs in the corner room. Even if the ghost sees you walk in there, closing the door is enough for it to lose sight of you. They’re not the smartest entities.
Tanglewood Hiding Spot #1
One complaint people have about Tanglewood Streethouse is the lack of hiding spots. Fortunately, we found a good one if you happened to get trapped in the master bedroom. There are no closets in the room itself for you to run into, but you can use the master bedroom closet. It counts as a room despite being a closet, so trying to hold the door closed might do you no good.
Tanglewood Hiding Spot #2
In the same room in Tanglewood Streethouse, you can hide right behind the door. If you don’t think you’re going to make it to the closet in the back in time, there is still a safe spot in the room itself. The white desk might just be enough of a barrier to keep the ghost from peeking behind the door as it wouldn’t be able to clip through the desk.
