3 Things We Want To See In The Finished Version Of Phasmophobia

We already know Kinetic Games is working hard on a lot of suggestions. Phasmophobia is still in its early access phase while the developer works out all the bugs. We might not see more content in the early access of Phasmophobia, but early access isn’t about adding more content until a lot of the issues are worked out.

However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some things we want to see once the game is considered “finished.”

More Hunt Animations

Right now, the only hunt animation is having a pair of ghostly hands wrap around your face while your fellow players watch you choke to death. What’s even funnier is your character just flops wherever they are. It makes for some funny death positions. As morbid as it sounds, we want to see more ways we can die. Maybe the ghost pulls us up from the ceiling, drags us into another room, or actually uses some of the weapons they carry around.

More Things For The Dead Player To Do

Players hate when they die, not because they lose their items, but because there’s not really anything for them to do but float around in a ghostly view while they watch their teammates for the rest of the game. It can be a bit boring if the team is too scared to go inside and try to figure things out. Have content for a dead player to do similar to how dead players in Among Us can still do tasks. Dead players in Phasmophobia should also be able to speak through the spirit box to help give other players clues from what they find in the ghostly world.

Ghosts Can Possess Players

If you want to make Phasmophobia even more anxiety-inducing, have more penalty for having lower sanity than having a ghost hunt more. Ghosts should be able to possess the bodies of living players to kill other players without other players knowing they’re possessed. That’s why players should be on an outside voice chat like Discord. It makes the game more fun when you don’t know what’s going on. When the ghost possesses a player, their ability to speak locally or globally is cut off, which means players should remain in constant communication, or else they’ll suspect one of the other players is possessed.

What do you want to see in the finished version of Phasmophobia?
