Phasmophobia has two new ghost types with its Exposition update: The Myling and Goryo. We’re going to look at Phasmophobia’s Myling, it’s strengths, it’s weaknesses, and the evidence needed to find it.
What Is The Myling In Phasmophobia?

According to the in-game journal, “A Myling is a very vocal and active ghost. They are rumoured to be quiet when hunting their prey.” The fact that the Myling is quieter when it’s hunting means you may not know the Myling is right behind you until it’s too late. Make sure you have at least one person protecting the rest of the team with a smudge stick.
What Is The Myling’s Strength?

Like all ghosts in Phasmophobia, the Myling has its own unique strength that makes it one of the most terrifying ghosts to deal with. The Myling’s unique strength is that it is known to be quieter when hunting. Have the person in the truck help by watching the activity board to alert the people inside of a Myling’s hunting phase.
What Is The Myling’s Weakness?

Despite being quieter when hunting, a Myling in Phasmophobia will make itself known when it’s not hunting. A Myling in Phasmophobia will make more paranormal sounds than other ghosts. How is this a weakness? This makes a Myling easier to collect evidence on and get out of the house before it can even hunt.
What Evidence Is Needed For A Myling?

To find a Myling in Phasmophobia, you will need the following pieces of evidence:
- EMF Level 5
- Fingerprints
- Ghost Writing
Since the Myling will most likely alert you to its location, it’s best to collect evidence quickly and get out before it begins hunting.
