Back 4 Blood Group Therapy Card Guide

Card systems are always the best received when included in video games. For every Gwent, there is a nightmare system that ruins the pace and enjoyment of an otherwise great title. Well, Back 4 Blood took a chance, adding a card system into the zombie thriller, knowing all the risks involved. However, despite this it seems that the game is all the better for it as this card mechanic offers variety and depth without intruding on the main experience.

These cards allow the player to equip powerups and perks before they go out and brave the campaigns of B4B. However, you may not be aware of the different perks on offer. Well, allow us to fill you in. We have created a series of guides breaking down each and every B4B card. In this guide, we take a look at the card, Group Therapy.

What is the Group Therapy Card in Back 4 Blood?

Group therapy is a defensive card type within the B4B series. This is a card that makes your healing items go further and help your entire team as a result. This card means that everytime you use a health item to heal, not only will you still receive the full benefit of this item, your team will also be awarded with 10HP as well.

B4B Group Therapy Defense

This card is one that sounds better than it actually is. As if your team are all fully healed when you need to heal, this effect goes to waste making it purely situational and not an option for a lead card. However, this can definitely work in a pinch as a card in a healing characters deck. Just don’t expect this to be all that useful until the latter stages of a campaign.

How Do I Earn Cards in Back For Blood?

The player earns cards in Back for Blood by completing supply lines. This is basically like a battle pass that a player can use to obtain new cards so long as they complete campaigns and earn XP to do so. Players can speed up this progress by using corruption cards that offer extra rewards but also make the action much more difficult throughout the campaign. So if you want to expand your basic card deck, get out there and complete some levels.

What is the Relevance of the Top Card?

Your leading card in the Back 4 Blood card deck is your most important card. Unlike the other cards in this deck, this card will be active for your entire campaign. So make sure that you choose a particularly powerful card that is conducive to your overall playstyle.

So that is our quick guide explaining the Group Therapy card in Back 4 Blood. What did you make of this guide? Was this helpful and informative for you? Which card on the roster has caught your eye? Let us know in the comments section below and as always, thank you for reading.
