Back 4 Blood is a game that is heavily inspired by the wonderful zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead. The game uses a lot of the same mechanics, campaign formats, a lot of the enemies and characters are similar to this title and the co-op format is borrowed from this game too. However, one of the mechanics that sets this game apart is the card-based mechanic. This allows players to pick perks and power-ups to take with them on their campaign.

The combat medic card is a defensive type card within Back 4 Blood. These cards are essentially those that help you stay alive throughout your campaign. This card in particular is very important, especially if you don’t have a healer like Doc in your party. This card grants the player and their party an additional 20 hit points when using healing items. Plus, it also makes you a more efficient healer, increasing your item use speed by 25%.

This card allows you to get the most out of healing items. Plus, it means that you can hide behind cover and heal fast in clutch situations without being pinned down by the horde of Ridden. This card isn’t too useful if you have a healer on your team already but if you are a team that’s built for combat and dealing damage. This could be a lifesaver.

Back 4 Blood Combat Medic is an defense tier card. Other Back 4 Blood cards of tier defense are: Miraculous Recovery and Medical Expert.

How Do I Earn Cards in Back For Blood?

The player earns cards in Back for Blood by completing supply lines. This is basically like a battle pass that a player can use to obtain new cards so long as they complete campaigns and earn XP to do so. Players can speed up this progress by using corruption cards that offer extra rewards but also make the action much more difficult throughout the campaign. So if you want to expand your basic card deck, get out there and complete some levels.

What is the Relevance of the Top Card?

Your leading card in the Back 4 Blood card deck is your most important card. Unlike the other cards in this deck, this card will be active for your entire campaign. So make sure that you choose a particularly powerful card that is conducive to your overall playstyle.
