Back 4 Blood Berserker Card Guide

Back 4 Blood is a game that many fans of co-op action have been watching closely for some time now. The series promises to offer some of the best co-op functionality on modern consoles, rivalling games like Borderlands or It Takes Two. However, this game will feel most familiar to Left 4 Dead fans as the game offers the same format, similar campaign structures and enemies/characters loosely based on past L4D properties. However, one thing that is entirely new is the card system.

This card system offers players a way to equip perks and added challenges when beginning their runs. Meaning that no run of a campaign will ever feel like the last. However, you may be wondering what cards are on offer within this game. Well, allow us to tell you. We have created guides looking into each and every card available. In this guide, we look at the Berserker Card.

What is the Berserker Card in Back 4 Blood?

Berserker is an offensive card within the B4B card format. This is a card that is aimed at those that like to get up close and personal with the ridden swarm and chain melee kills. This card takes effect when a player makes a melee kill, when they do so they will be awarded with a 10% melee damage, 10% melee speed and 5% movement speed bonus that will last for four seconds. These boosts are infinitely stackable and is only limited by how fast you can rack up melee kills.

Back 4 Blood Beserker Offense

This is a card that can be good situationally if you run out of bullets are forced to go at Ridden with a blunt object. Or alternatively, if you are a melee weapon aficionado, you’ll find this card to be very useful indeed and the ability to stack these boosts could allow you to take out a swarm all by yourself.

How Do I Earn Cards in Back For Blood?

The player earns cards in Back for Blood by completing supply lines. This is basically like a battle pass that a player can use to obtain new cards so long as they complete campaigns and earn XP to do so. Players can speed up this progress by using corruption cards that offer extra rewards but also make the action much more difficult throughout the campaign. So if you want to expand your basic card deck, get out there and complete some levels.

What is the Relevance of the Top Card?

Your leading card in the Back 4 Blood card deck is your most important card. Unlike the other cards in this deck, this card will be active for your entire campaign. So make sure that you choose a particularly powerful card that is conducive to your overall playstyle.
